ecoloqo is a visually social bookmarking site that collects views of the best looking and most useful sustainability websites. The aim is to explore how sustainability is represented on the web and examine and discuss webdesign for sustainability.
It is for all in design and those interested in sustainability and the web.
It has three basic views:
- a tagcloud of subjects that users have tagged their sites with,
- the collections of visual cues or crops that give us thumbnail views of the sustainable web, and
- the access to the individual sites with a chance to vote upon, comment on as well as view the site live.
Design is essential for a sustainable world; here we can showcase the best and discuss the ways forward to inspire others to join in to create the world we need.
We're creating the visual language of sustainability by collecting and highlighting the best, making sustainability attractive to the webuser by sharing the insights of the design community.
